WHERE WE ARE

Najac is in the north west corner of the Aveyron, close to the borders with the Tarn and Tarn-et-Garonne. It’s about 20 minutes south of Villefranche de Rouergue, set in a landscape of medieval hilltop villages, castles, gorges, hidden valleys, rivers, forests and vineyards.

How to get here

Our visitors have usually arrived on the cheap flights to Rodez (60 minutes away) or Toulouse (two hours) and hired a car.

If you don’t want to drive while you are on holiday the train is an option. In 2009 we had visitors who flew to Toulouse and took the train to Najac, and others who arrived on an overnight train from Paris. You will need to check whether this is viable in 2010 because engineering work is planned on the line in the early part of the year and the trains may occasionally be replaced by a bus service.

For SatNav our co-ordinates are:
44°13'09.55" N 1°58'38.94" E
